Louise loves Liverpool!

Liverpool hosted the CAFOD Campaign Energiser for the whole North West of England, where campaigners from all over Shrewsbury, Salford, Lancaster, North Wales and Liverpool dioceses gathered together. Speakers for the day included Louise Ellman (MP for Liverpool Riverside) who gave advice about how to lobby MPs and Lorna Fielding (Programme Officer for Brazil and Paraguay) who talked about the success of CAFOD’s partners in Brazil (CBJP) in local campaigning particularly the Fincha Limpa (clean record) Law (which bans from the ballot those convicted of drug trafficking, theft of public funds, rape or murder). Pictured in the photo below (l to r) are James, Eily May, Clare Walsh, Louise Ellman, Dorothy Walsh, Kath Lydon and Joan Darwent.
