CAFOD Carol Service 2011

The Annual CAFOD Carol service will be taking place at St Teresa’s in Upholland on Thursday 15th December 2011 at 7:30pm.

Clare Dixon, head of CAFOD’s Latin American team will be speaking about Puentecitos; a village in El Salvador where CAFOD works. She will be talking about some of the people living in Puentecitos and talking about her recent visit there in November. She is pictured below with Chris Lappine in El Salvador.

Music will be provided by St John Fisher Catholic High School and St John Rigby’s Sixth Form College. There will also be special performances from the children at St Mary and St John Catholic Primary School and St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School.

World Gifts, fair-trade goods, mince pies and a glass of wine will also be available on the night. It should be a great night!
