St Anthony of Padua Catholic Primary School’s silver river sparkles for CAFOD

The CAFOD Liverpool office received this lovely picture and letter from the year 4s at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Primary School in Mossley Hill:

Dear CAFOD,

We are writing to say that year 4 have made a silver river which contains silver coins which we have collected for you. We have raised £22.75. Year 4 hope this will help water supplies in Africa. We admire your charity and think it is a very good cause. Year 4 will try to keep helping in the future. We designed the silver river by cutting tinfoil in the shape of a river and adding silver coins. The children have all helped by bringing coins in and sticking them on. We know that you have helped Rosenna and many other people in Africa by putting water pumps around their village to have clean water.

Yors sincerely

Year 4
