Hundreds of people including families, schools, youth groups, priests, nuns and even dogs came together for the 28th CAFOD Fun Run on the 27th December at Wavertree Park. Over 600 runners and walkers took part! Lots of people came in fancy dress including Superwoman, Spiderman and the 118 118 men! The race was started by children’s Author & Olympic Mastermind Frank Cottrell-Boyce who has been running the CAFOD Fun Run for the last few years with his family. The run also saw the official launch for Liverpool Archdiocese of the new CAFOD Campaign ‘Hungry for Change.’ We were also joined by 3 fish: Freddie, Frank and Felix who went round and met the children who were there on the day. Freddie, Frank and Felix also took part in the race!A mammoth thank-you to everyone who took part and to all those volunteers who made the day such an astounding success particulary Mike Dooling-we could not have done it without you!!!!!
