On Wednesday 11th December 2013, there will be charity fundraiser to raise money for CAFOD’s work in Syria. The event is being organised by Shana Bari, a second year law student from Liverpool University. The event starts from 7pm-11pm and is taking place at ‘The Brink.’
Although the event is free, there will be volunteers with buckets collecting donations throughout the night so bring lots of change with you. There will be a lots competitions and raffles. Prizes include hair styling, meals for two at Liverpool’s top restaurants and cafes, a station tour from Juice FM and many more prizes up for grabs. Food and drink will also be available to purchase. There will be a henna artist there too.
The acts performing on the night include Shannen Bamford, Catherine Anne, Shell Ellis, Sam Ali and Sophie Wallis among many more!
There will also be a DJ.
As the Brink does not serve alcoholic drinks, it means that under 18s can also come on the night.
Anything raised on the night will be match-funded by Barclays so please be generous!
