Staff and students at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College have raised a whopping £3090.59 for the Philippines. Money has been raised via several bucket collections in school, quizzes, a soup drive and the efforts of individual form groups selling cakes, chocolate, Christmas gifts and hot chocolate as well as offering manicures in return for donations at break times. A group of 30 members of staff and students also ran the Santa Dash at the beginning of December to further boost funds. Mr Crease even wore his kilt in school, on a rather chilly, windy day to raise money! Meanwhile year 8s alone managed to raise £1400. Wow! Chris visited the year 8s today to thank them and talk about some of the people who have been helped by CAFOD in the Philippines. Thank again to everyone at Bellerive.
