Lots of soggy bottoms…..

On Saturday 7th June, Anne and John Wills from St Helen’s Parish in Crosby held their annual fundraiser in aid of the McMillan Nurses, the Waterloo Project and CAFOD’s Connect2: Brazil. Nearly 100 people braved the thunder, lightning and torrential downpour to join them on the day. Hundreds of delicious cakes and puddings, all made by Louise Wills, sold out in no time. They also had a tombola, plant sale and a bric-a-brac! Anne had even crotcheted teddy bears to sell. Altogether, £1700 was raised. The garden party was extra special this year as we were celebrating the good news from our friends in Maua. A big thank you to everyone who came on the day!
